In an
interview with Iravaban.net, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of
Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan, referred issues related to the activities and
development of the Human Rights Defender’s Office of the Republic of Armenia,
the challenges faced in this context, the problems encountered in maintaining
the independence of the Human Rights Defender’s Office, as well as cooperation
with state bodies and civil society.
During
the conversation, the prospects for the development of the human rights
protection system, strengthening public trust and a number of other issues were
also discussed.
