“Legal Counsel for Detainee” automated system in the Facebook Messenger application is also accessible in English

On January 17 during roundtable discussion organized by the Human Rights Defender’s Office, the Human Rights Defender presented “Legal Counsel for Detainee” automated system, which operates in the Facebook Messenger application. The system contains more than 300 responses to questions with regard to issues on deprivation of liberty. The tool has been developed with the support of the European Union funded “Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in Armenia” Project, implemented by UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF.

The automated system provides consultation on the basic rights in Armenian and English to the persons deprived of liberty, their relatives or any other person.
