The
Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan was
hosted at the studio of “Euromedia 24”.
During
the conversation, issues of public concern were discussed, including those
related to the protection of human rights and the framework of social and
political developments.
Inter
alia, reference was made to
▪️visits
to penitentiary institutions, meetings with persons deprived of their liberty,
including those deprived of their liberty as a result of recent events,
▪️concerns
in the field of guaranteeing religious freedoms, the autonomy of religious
organizations, restrictions on religious organizations,
▪️
guarantees of rights within the framework of legal processes, the presumption
of innocence and existing problems in this regard.
