Anahit Manasyan and Françoise Jacob made a joint visit to the Tavush province

On August 5, the Human Rights Defender, Anahit Manasyan and UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Françoise Jacob made a joint visit to the Tavush province.

The following meetings were held in Ijevan:

With the Governor of Tavush province, Hayk Ghalumyan;

With women representatives and beneficiaries of various non-governmental organizations in Ijevan branch of the Yerevan State University;

With children receiving alternative care in the Armenian Charitable Foundation "SOS Children's Villages", foster family, along with this the conditions of child care provision were studied.

The Defender undertakes to implement all the tools relevant to her mandate to solve the problems identified during the visit.
