The hotline of the Human Rights Defender's Office received calls
stating that Arayik Khandoyan, Areg Kyureghyan, Mkhitar Avetisyan, Smbat
Barseghyan and Gagik Yeghiazaryan have been subjected to violence. There were
also public statements in this regard by their advocates.
From the night till now, representatives of the Human Rights
Defender’s Office make rapid response visits to the penitentiary institutions,
where these people are deprived of liberty.
