Daily
monitoring carried out by the Human Rights Defender’s Office indicates that
despite existing developments, serious challenges still remain in the field.
In an
interview with Iravaban.net, Ms. Zhanna Hakobyan, Director of the Centre for
Research, Expertise, and Education of the Human Rights Defender’s Office, noted
that the main causes of these problems is the stereotypes and insensitive
approaches existing in society.
According
to Ms. Zhanna Hakobyan, the problems are conditioned by various factors and
require systemic solutions.
This
once again emphasizes the need for continuous efforts:
