The
Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan, after
the Government session, answered journalists' questions
A
number of important issues were discussed, including:
✅ the case that received
public attention was related to the alarm call from the parents of a
serviceman. They expressed concern about the health condition and the treatment
process of their son, subsequent to his recent conscription into the armed
forces,
✅ legal processes and the
importance of upholding the presumption of innocence,
✅ the nature of the complaints
received by the Human Rights Defender’s Office and the procedures for
responding to them.
