The
Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan spoke about the protection of the rights
of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of an
interview with Public TV.
The
fact that the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh was forced to
leave the homeland was especially emphasized, since they did not have any
guarantee of life and safety and became a victim of this or that form of
ill-treatment.
The
Defender also summarized the results of the activities of 2023, and touched
upon the programs implemented by the Human Rights Defender in various fields.
Anahit
Manasyan also answered the question whether the period of her tenure was
sufficient to be fully involved in the process of human rights protection, and
also presented what she considers her main achievement during her tenure.
