The Association of Ombudsmen and Mediators of La Francophonie (l’Association des Ombudsmans et des Médiateurs de la Francophonie – l’AOMF) was created in 1998. Currently, the Institution has 54 members.
The activities of the Association aim to strengthen the Ombudsmen institutions and the exchange of experience, as well as to establish ombudsmen institutions in the states where there is a lack of such mechanisms.
