The
2026 working year at the Human Rights Defender’s Office commenced with a high
sense of responsibility, new approaches and a commitment to carrying out
activities with increased intensity.
The
Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan, held
year-opening working consultations with the participation of heads and
representatives of departments.
A
number of issues related to the methodology, priorities, and effectiveness of
organizing activities throughout the year were discussed. The Defender
emphasized the need for more efficient implementation of activities, the
application of innovative solutions, and the strengthening of interdepartmental
cooperation, giving relevant instructions.
