On July 21, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia,
Ms. Anahit Manasyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of
Armenia, H.E. Mr. John Gallagher, who is completing his diplomatic mission in
our country.
The Human Rights Defender expressed gratitude to the Ambassador
for the effective partnership established between the Human Rights Defender
Institute and the Embassy of the United Kingdom.
Ms. Anahit Manasyan particularly emphasized the joint programs
implemented to develop institutional capacities for human rights protection,
protect the rights of vulnerable groups, and strengthen the rule of law.
In turn, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Human
Rights Defender for the effective and constructive cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Ms. Anahit Manasyan wished
H.E. Ambassador Mr. John Gallagher continued achievements and success in his
future endeavors.
