On
the instructions of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms.
Anahit Manasyan, on July 15, the representatives of the Human Rights Defender’s
Office visited the medical center to meet with Ms. Liana Harutyunyan, who had
been detained and transferred there, as with her child.
The
representatives of the Human Rights Defender's Office, including a doctor and a
psychologist, had a private interview with Ms. Liana Harutyunyan and the
medical staff.
The
details of the meeting are confidential and are not subject to publication,
based on the principles of personal data protection and the sensitive nature of
the process.
The
Human Rights Defender's Office will continue to monitor the situation and, if
necessary, take appropriate response actions.
