of the Republic of Armenia, presented the HRDO staff's 2024 expenditure and

Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms" event. Within the
framework of the second event, 4 million AMD were allocated to ensure the
technical equipment of the institution.
The
Secretary General emphasized that in the reporting year, the The Sub-Committee
on Accreditation (SCA) of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights
Institutions (GANHRI) of the United Nations Organization granted the Human
Rights Defender’s Office of the Republic of Armenia the highest status of
credibility and independence, “A” status. This is an important criterion that
the institution operates with high standards of independence, impartiality and
credibility, using legal tools.
In
the reporting year, the Human Rights Defender’s Office received 11,634
applications-complaints, of which 1,620 received a positive solution - 13.92%,
which is a positive trend.

provision of opinions on normative legal acts, the alternative reports
submitted by the Human Rights Defender’s Office within the framework of
international procedures, etc.
Then,
the Secretary General answered the questions raised by the deputies.
