On March 7, the Human Rights Defender Ms. Anahit Manasyan visited the office of the
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Armenia and met
with Head of Delegation Ms. Daphnée Maret.
The Defender highly valued the cooperation between the
Human Rights Defender’s Office and the ICRC in Armenia, emphasizing the
importance of the work carried out by the organization.
The discussion covered various issues of mutual interest,
including the rights of prisoners of war, missing persons, and their families.
The joint programs in the field of international humanitarian law were also
addressed.
The Defender reaffirmed her commitment to continuing
cooperation with the ICRC.
