In
response to a number of media inquiries, we would like to inform you that on
April 23, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan visited the
"Yerevan-Kentron" penitentiary institution of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs of Armenia to see Davit Tonoyan.
During
the private interview, inter alia, the latter presented to the Defender his
concerns regarding the criminal proceedings, as well as the issues related to
the rights of freedom and personal integrity.
The
Defender was accompanied by the staff representatives. The meeting had a
confidential nature.
