On April 18, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan
participated in the online Board meeting of the European Network of National
Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI).
The participants referred to the report of ENNHRI on the
state of the rule of law in Europe. They also discussed a number of issues
related to the management of the European network.
Let us highlight that on February 7, 2024, Anahit
Manasyan was elected as a Board member of the European Network of National
Human Rights Institutions as a result of the voting held within the framework
of the ENNHRI general meeting. For the first time, the Office of the Human Rights
Defender of Armenia is included in the governing body of the European network.
