This day has a special message from the viewpoint of
valuing motherhood and beauty once again. The Armenian woman has always been at
the foundation of the strength of the state, and the protection of women's
rights strengthens those foundations even more.
As the Human Rights Defender, one of the important
directions of my work is the protection and promotion of women's rights. It is
important for the state to take continuous steps to improve the mentioned
sector. Overcoming stereotypes, creating equal opportunities, ensuring women's
participation in the decision-making process, promoting women's potential in
social and political life is key to the successful implementation of the
process. It is necessary to carry out serious work in the field of education in
the direction of forming a proper perception of the role of women and overcoming
stereotypical thinking.
