The
citizen appealed to the Human Rights Defender and reported that his relative,
sentenced to life imprisonment, has a health issue and the doctor prescribed
appropriate treatment.
The
latter expressed his desire to organize the indicated treatment at the medical
center of his choice at the expense of his own funds.
The
applicant requested the Defender's support in providing medical assistance to
his relative.
At
the request of the Defender, a discussion procedure was immediately initiated
in relation to the raised issue, within the framework of which a letter was
addressed to the competent state body.
Due
to the cooperation with the Ministry of Health of the RA, the problem raised by
the citizen received a positive solution.
