On
February 22, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan received the founders of
the "Chakhruk" cultural non-governmental organization Anna and Anahit
Mkhitaryans.
Welcoming
the guests, Anahit Manasyan stated that issues related to the rights of persons
with disabilities, the elderly and children are under her immediate attention.
The Defender emphasized the guarantee and proper protection of the rights of
persons with different characteristics. Anahit Manasyan and the separate units
of the staff are actively engaged in their daily work in that direction.
In
this context, she emphasized the importance of ensuring the meaningful
employment of people in care institutions and the joint efforts and effective
cooperation of everyone in this matter.
Within
the framework of the meeting, issues related to human rights in the process of
implementation of various programs in the mentioned institutions were
discussed.
The
guests, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the Defender for the warm
reception and productive discussion.
