On February 8, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan
had a meeting with the UNICEF Deputy Regional Director for Europe and Central
Asia Octavian Bivol, within the frames of her working visit to Switzerland.
The discussion, in which the representative of UNICEF in
Armenia, Christine Weigand, also took part, the projects implemented in
cooperation between UNICEF and the Human Rights Defender's Office, the existing
problems in the field of protection of children's rights and the work being carried
out in order to solve them were touched upon.
At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors outlined the
possible directions of cooperation.
