of the important directions of her work. At the same time, the Defender

of the rights of national minorities, but also their promotion, for which
serious steps must be taken.
"It
is impossible to have a proper system of human rights protection without public
solidarity, and from the viewpoint of public solidarity, the guarantee of legal
equality is of exceptional importance. Regarding the rights of national
minorities, the state, among other things, has a positive obligation to guarantee
and contribute to the preservation of their culture, religion, language,
traditions, and in this regard, the active involvement of the communities of
national minorities is extremely important," stated the Defender.

this context, Anahit Manasyan emphasized the activity of the public council on
protection and promotion of the rights of persons belonging to national
minorities adjunct to the Human Rights Defender.

and promote the rights of women who are representatives of the national
minorities. She emphasized the need to overcome various stereotypes for the
successful implementation of the process. In this context, the Defender noted
that it is necessary to carry out serious work in the direction of reforming
the educational system, because it is through the educational system that
stereotyped approaches are very often transmitted, which do not correspond to
modern trends regarding human rights.
At
the end of her speech, Anahit Manasyan stressed that each of us, with our own

again expressed her gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event
