On
December 26 "Kharberd Specialized Children's home" State Non-Profit
Organization (SNPO) was in a festive mood.
The
"Chakhruk" ethno musical New Year's event was organized with the
joint efforts by the Human Rights Defender, the Ministry of Labour and Social
Affairs and “Chakhruk" cultural centre.
Armenian
Prime Minister's wife Anna Hakobyan, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan,
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan, as well as the students
of "Zatik" Yerevan Child Assistance Centre (SNPO) and "Gavar
Orphanage" (SNPO) participated in the event.
Anna
and Anahit Mkhitaryan are the founding leaders of the band, who accompanied the
band members throughout the evening. They presented souvenirs made by the
students to the guests. Anahit Manasyan, in her turn, awarded the sisters with
a letter of acknowledgment from the Defender for their great dedication and
conscientious work.
"Each
person, by giving love and warmth, contributes to the improvement of the
general environment. As a result, due to the such a lifestyle of each of us,
the opportunity to transform the world and make it better is created.
I
believe that “Chakhruk" is exactly all about that- it is about giving love
and warmth to our environment. I have that feeling every time when interacting
with the members of the "Chakhruk" ethno-music group," stated
the Defender, addressing the audience.
At
the end of the festive day, Anahit Manasyan decorated the Tree of Life
symbolizing kindness, abundance, life and development of the world, afterwards
handed over New Year's gifts to the students of the institutions. The defender
reaffirmed that she will always stand by the big family of
"Chakhruks".
