The
Human Rights Defender Ms. Anahit Manasyan visited the Soldier's House
rehabilitation center on December 13.
Accompanied
by Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi Rector Mr. Armen
Muradyan and Haykuhi Minasyan, the Director of the Rehabilitation center, Ms.
Manasyan toured the center, and held conversations with the staff and
beneficiaries.
The
Defender was presented with the everyday life of the persons receiving
rehabilitation treatment at the center, and issues related to the treatment,
the methodology of the work and the upcoming projects were presented to the
Defender.
The
Human Rights Defender highly valued the work done by the management and staff
of the center and expressed her willingness to support the protection of the
rights of persons receiving rehabilitation treatment in the institution within
the context of her competences. In this regard, the directions of cooperation
between the center and the Office were outlined.
Ms.
Manasyan donated books, including her monograph, to the library of the
Soldier's House rehabilitation center.
