During the night, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan
continued to hold meetings with forcibly displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh
in Goris community.
At this moment, the Ombudsperson is also in the Syunik Region
with the representatives of the office. Fact-finding activities are carried out
on the spot, detailed information is collected. Yesterday, the Ombudsperson visited
the Humanitarian Station based in the Kornidzor settlement of Tegh community.
Anahit Manasyan, together with the head of the Armenian office
of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Kavita Belani, observed the needs
assessment process, talked with the staff, including medical workers.
The fact-finding activities regarding the forcibly displaced
persons are ongoing.
