congratulate all of us on the day of adoption of the Declaration of
Independence of Armenia.

years ago, the Declaration of Independence adopted by the Supreme Council of
the Armenian SSR signaled the beginning of the process of establishing
independent statehood. With this founding document, the principles of the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights were adopted, and the state assumed the
responsibility of ensuring fundamental rights such as equality, freedom of
speech, press, and conscience.
Therefore,
ensuring and protecting the effective realization of human rights is of
fundamental importance for the strengthening and development of the state
established by the Declaration of Independence.
Dear
compatriots, I once again extend congratulations to all of us on this symbolic
day. It is the duty of each of us to protect our independence and our
statehood."
