On
July 20, in accordance with widespread information, a handcuffed man threw
himself from the 5th floor of the General Department of Investigation of
Smuggling and Economic Crimes of the Investigative Committee of the RA and
died. On the initiative of the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan, a discussion
procedure was started on the same day.
Corresponding
letters will be addressed to the General Prosecutor's Office of the RA and the
Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA, with the request to make the
circumstances of the case the subject of a detailed and comprehensive
investigation.
