Today,
on July 5, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan held a meeting with the
youth of the Dilijan community center located in Dilijan enlarged community of
Tavush region on the occasion of Constitution Day.
A discussion was held on the topic "The role of
constitutional values in strengthening the human-centered society and
statehood".
Teachers, human rights activists and representatives of
non-governmental organizations also participated in the meeting.

scientific research on the Constitution, referring to the scientific works carried out on this
topic in different years.
Welcoming the students of the center, she emphasized the importance of such meetings, stating
that through them issues related to the protection of human rights are raised,
as well as an opportunity is created to discuss ways to solve them.
"The day of the meeting is symbolic. I would like to
emphasize that I attach great importance to events in this format outside the
capital. After assuming the mission of the Human Rights
Defender, as a priority, I regularly carry out regional visits for the purpose
of
carrying out fact-finding activities, discussing various issues with citizens, as well as
finding solutions to them. Young people living in regions
should be listened to, and this meeting is a good opportunity to get to know
each other and create bridges of cooperation. Dear young people, your
participation in improving the system of human rights protection and
guaranteeing constitutional values is also necessary," stated the
Defender.
The meeting had a Q&A format:
issues related to the Constitution, and protection of human rights were discussed.
The young people raised their questions and presented their concerns.
Summarizing the results of the meeting, Anahit Manasyan
noted that the day was productive and the discussions in that format will be
continuous.
