Today, on June 8, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan and received 22
children and specialists of the Child and Family Support Center of the Ministry
of Labor and Social Affairs.
The Defender
presented to the children the activities of the Human Rights
Defender’s office, the range of
competences and also discussed a number of issues related to the protection of
children's rights.
The children were informed about the 24-hour hotline
service of the Human Rights Defender and about all other possible options to
contact the Defender, through which they can voice their problems.
The children had the opportunity to ask Anahit Manasyan
various questions about child-teacher relationships, getting an education,
expressing their opinions, cases of violence, bullying, as well as other topics
related to the protection of their rights.
