On
May 27, the meeting of the Public Council on Children’s and Youth Rights
adjunct to the Human Rights Defender was held under the leadership of the
Defender Anahit Manasyan.
Within
the framework of the session, the upcoming programs organized with the
participation of the Council and the actions to be implemented were outlined, a
number of issues regarding the protection of the rights of children were
raised.
The
agenda and format of the event organized by the staff on the International Day
of Children's Protection were discussed with the members of the Council.
Reference was also made to the issues related to the participation of the
representatives of the Council in the upcoming European Network of Young
Advisors (ENYA) forum organized by the European Network of Ombudspersons for
Children (ENOC).
In
2023, the Council was involved in the programs organized by ENYA.
