The Human rights
defender's hotline received calls from relatives of two Armenian servicemen
abducted by Azerbaijan on May 26, with regard to possible information about the
whereabouts and health status of the abducted servicemen.
Taking into account
the requirements of international law, including international humanitarian
law, the Ombudsman calls on international structures to immediately make
efforts to guarantee the protection of the rights of abducted servicemen and
their return to their homeland.
