compatriots, I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the Republic Day.

years ago, On May 28, 1918, the Armenian people restored their independent
statehood. The establishment of the first republic was of key importance in our
path to the creation of statehood, and we must persist of enhancing and
appreciating it.
The
Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Armenia documented our
commitment to advancing the democratic practices of the first republic and
forming a state structure founded upon the principles outlined in the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights and widely accepted norms of international law.
Therefore,
it is important that the state is always the guarantor of a dignified and safe
life of a person.
Once
again, I congratulate all of us on the occasion of the Republic Day."
