The
Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan conducted a working visit to the Shirak
Province.
Accompanied
by the Governor of Shirak Povince Mushegh Muradyan, the Defender was present at
the "Last Bell" events at Gyumri No. 23 and Lusaghbyur secondary
schools.
Congratulating
the graduates, the Defender stated that knowledge is the real and irreplaceable
wealth with which you can achieve anything.
"We
should not expect special treatment from the world and life. Instead, we ought
to consistently adhere to a contrary logic, giving the environment around us a
lot of love, human values and knowledge-driven endeavors. The acquisition of
knowledge stands as the paramount accomplishment in the journey of every
individual, it can never be lost.
Dear
graduates, I extend my congratulations to you on entering a new chapter of
life," She stated.
Anahit
Manasyan also met with the teachers of the schools, discussed a number of
issues related to the protection of human rights, introduced them with the
priorities of the Human Rights Defender’s office, and answered their questions.
Symbolic
souvenirs were also handed over by the Defender.
