Today,
on April 18, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan held a meeting with the
family members of missing servicemen of the 44-day combat operations.
During
the meeting, the family members of servicemen raised a number of issues related
to DNA identification examinations, provision of information on the course of
the preliminary investigation, being recognized as a victim in criminal
proceedings and other issues.
The
Human Rights Defender noted that the issues raised by the parents are under her
direct attention, and after being studied by the Defender's staff, necessary
measures will be taken.
The
Defender also expressed her willingness to hold regular meetings on the issues
of concern to the relatives of the missing servicemen.
