On July 6, the Human Rights defender of the Republic of Armenia Kristinne Grigoryan was present and gave an opening speech at the opening ceremony of the ERASMUS+ JEAN MONET MODULE "EU, Security and Fundamental Rights" (EUSecJuris) held at Eurasia International University.
During the event, a concise program was presented, consisting of introductory and advanced courses, which will be taught by both local and international guest professors, and experts.
In her speech, the Defender noted that education without borders and stereotypes is a vital guarantee of one’s personal development, dignified life, and the best protection of everyone’s rights.
Oftentimes, some members of our society express the opinion that security and the system of human rights are options of choice for society and the state. Still, the events happening nowadays once again prove that there is no security without human rights, and there is no guarantee for human rights without stable and reliable security. Hence, security and human rights are complementary and interdependent components."
