The citizen applied to
the Human Rights Defender of Armenia to assign their son to a disability level.
The citizen noted that they had recently applied to the socio-medical
examination committee for their son's socio-medical examination, but it was not
carried out.
According to the
applicant, they are not able to receive precise information.
During the study of the
complaint, contact was established with the relevant representative of the socio-medical
examination commission of one of the provinces of Armenia, and the issue of
defining a socio-medical examination for the applicant's son and the state's
obligation to provide the examination were discussed.
As a result of the
cooperation, a socio-medical examination was defined for the son of the
applicant, as a result of which the latter was assigned a disability level.
