A few
days ago, the Human Rights Defender visited the Dizak Art cultural center. It
was founded by women who worked in the cultural institutions of Hadrut before
the war.
In
the Dizak Art center exhibits that survived the war are displayed; these are
the evidence of our history and culture, prove that Hadrut has always been an
Armenian city. This center aims to preserve the feature, the particularity and
images of Hadrut, and turn it into a center of cultural events in Yerevan.
The
Human Rights Defender and specialists of the office discussed with the people
of Hadrut issues related to their rights.
They
agreed to work together to resolve all the issues raised. The representatives
of Artsakh to Armenia has also attended the meeting.
On
these issues, the Human Rights Defender closely cooperates also with the Human
Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Artsakh, Mr. Gegham Stepanyan. Together
they will discuss the directions of solving the issues.
