Mr.
Arman Tatoyan personally received the “State Structure of the Year” award from
Ms. Astghik Avetisyan, President of the Armenian PR Association, awarded to the
Office of the Human Rights Defender during the Armenian PR Awards Ceremony.
The
Human Rights Defender introduced to the students of the PR School of the
Armenian PR Association the principles of the work of the Defender’s
institution, the strategy of the public communication sphere, the difficulties
of work during crisis situations, etc.
The topics of interest of the participants of
the PR School were very diverse, and all the participants raised important
inquires during the discussion.
The
scope of the competence of the Human Rights Defender was discussed in detail,
and Mr. Arman Tatoyan noted again, that the institution of the Defender was
established to monitor the activities of the state bodies and officials, for
them not violate human rights.
I
would like once again to thank the organizers of the Armenian PR Awards
Ceremony and the members of the jury for their appraisal of the Defender’s
institution.
