Today at 10:00 AM, the Human
Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan presented the annual report for 2020 and the
report of the National Preventive Mechanism in the National Assembly,
accompanied by a sign language translation.
The annual report presents
the results of the activities of the Human Rights Defender and human rights
issues during 2020, including the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the
state of emergency and martial law.
Both documents are in total
1970 pages. Moreover, the annual report and the report of the National
Preventive Mechanism do not include the ad hoc reports which have been compiled
during 2020.
