"A Park of killed
Armenian soldiers and chained prisoners of war in Baku: A museum of human
sufferings and promotion of racism".
This is the title of the new ad hoc report of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia (in English).
This report is about the
effect of the Military Trophy Park in Baku on April 12, 2021, on Azerbaijani
perceptions opened.
Below are some examples of
these perceptions:
1. The
Vazkens (an Armenian name, here it means the Armenians) were tied like dogs, so
that they would not run away.
2. Thanks
to those people who worked, and made these models. The characteristic features
of all the villains, shameless, immoral, traitors, cunning, butchers are depicted
with accuracy.
3. The Military
Trophy Park is an advice for those seeking revenge, a lesson, a warning of
another "Iron Fist”.
4. The
next stop is Yerevan, Zangezur, Goycha (Sevan).
5. I
wish that the display of these trophies and models to be long-lasting, because
the future generation must recognize the enemy of the nation and remember it
with hatred.
6. Friends,
tell me, how big are the eyes shameless on these models. Long live the
creators. They seem to be afraid of the coming of a drone. In the case of the
second model, it depicts the correct words of our Mr. President: "Why are
you hiding here and there like rats?" etc.
Therefore, this report
contains the words of specific users, including public figures. It shows with
concrete evidences, with videos and photos that the park is another source of
generation of Armenophobia and hostility towards Armenians, which has an
evident state sponsorship.
The report also presents
public condemnation of the park by international bodies and media.
This report of the Human
Rights Defender of Armenia will be sent to international organizations, with a
special note that for decades, it is the policy of Armenophobia and hostility
propagated by the Azerbaijani authorities which led to tortures and atrocities during
the war, and now they are outright disrupting peace and solidarity in the
region.
