The
Human Rights Defender's Office, with the support of the Konrad Adenauer
Foundation, organized a seminar for journalists in Tsakhkadzor on February
20-21.
The Human
Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan and the Director of the Konrad
Adenauer Foundation "Political Dialogue South Caucasus" Regional
Program Thomas Shrapel made opening speeches, highlighting the importance of such
discussions with journalists.
Arman
Tatoyan presented to the participants the peculiarities of the Human Rights
Defender's work during emergency situations, as well as the protection of human
rights and freedoms in those situations.
During
the seminar, the journalists discussed many other issues related to the
protection of human rights.
