Today, the Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan
visited the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center. Accompanied by the YSMU
Rector Armen Muradyan, and the Director of the Rehabilitation Center Haykuhi
Minasyan, Arman Tatoyan walked through the center and got acquainted with its
current works and upcoming projects. He held discussions with the military
servicemen who are beneficiaries of the center.
Armen Muradyan noted that in addition to
health problems, the issues of the education and the employment of the military
servicemen are also solved in the Center. He stressed that the first stage of the
prosthetics program had been launched; all military servicemen with amputated
limbs will be provided with the best, modern prostheses.
Haykuhi Minasyan noted that specialists assess
the functional condition of the military servicemen with hand amputations to ensure
that the prostheses are in accordance with the individual needs and abilities
of each military serviceman.
The Human Rights Defender highlighted the work
conducted, expressing his readiness to support the protection of the rights of
military servicemen with disabilities within his competence.
