The Human Rights Defender has published a guide on the rules for
the import of goods for personal use by persons classified as permanent
residents of the Republic of Armenia.
The evaluation and study of the issues by the Ombudsman’s
observations, as well as the complaints of the applications addressed to the
Ombudsman, show that persons recognized as permanent residents of the Republic
of Armenia, for the most part, are not aware of the procedures and their rights
vested in the available privileges.
The guide includes answers to the questions that applicants most
often raise in their applications and complaints.
Applicable scenarios and situations were utilized as a basis
when compiling the answers to relevant questions.
