The individual examining complaints related to
public procurement satisfied the complaint in investigation of which the
representative of the Human Rights Defender was involved.
In particular, in the application addressed to
the Human Rights Defender, the person who participated in public procurement
process raised the issue that the Ministry of Finance had initiated a procedure
to include him in the list of the participants not eligible to participate in
the procurement process and requested the assistance of the Human Rights
Defender.
In December 2020, the representative of the
Human Rights Defender was again involved in a public procurement complaint
procedure by the individual responsible for the examination of complaints.
During the session, the position of the Defender in favor of the business
entity was presented, and, as a result, the business entity was not included in
the list of those not entitled to participate in the procurement process.
