Within the framework of the visit to
Moscow, the Human Rights defender of Armenia, Mr. Arman Tatoyan, together with
the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Russia Mr. Vardan
Toghanyan, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian
Federation, Mr. Sergey Vershinin.
The parties of the meeting discussed a
number of issues related to the protection of human rights.
During the meeting, Mr. Arman Tatoyan emphasized
the high-level and trustworthy relations with his Russian counterpart Ms. Tatiana
Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, as
well as the joint work for the protection of the rights of citizens of the two
countries.
