Yesterday and today’s monitoring of mass media
and social networks conducted by the Human Rights Defender’s Office has
revealed a number of publications that both certain
state officials and certain supporters of the opposition are trying to force
people to take or not to take part in today's rallies, labor and education
strikes.
We clarify that any unlawful interference with
the free exercise of human rights and freedoms is prohibited. It gives rise to
legal liability.
We call on all parties to respect the exercise
of the rights and freedoms of everyone, and to respect a person’s right to act
freely.
