The ongoing policy of Armenophobia
and propaganda of hostility organized by the highest bodies of the Azerbaijani
authorities is a factor of fundamental importance regarding the issues of
demarcation and delimitation.
The war crimes and crimes against
humanity committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces, including their atrocities
towards our compatriots anyhow appeared within the control of the Azerbaijani
authorities (mass destruction of the Armenian settlements, killings,
beheadings, executions, torture, physical and mental suffering, etc.) have the
same impact.
The process of demarcation and delimitation with such
speed contains real threats for the border residents of our country, to the rights to
life, physical and mental immunity, property rights and
other internationally recognized vital rights of the entire population of
Armenia.
Specialists in cartography, geodesy, military and other
fields, historians
should become involved in the process of demarcation and delimitation, there
is a need for commission work on the ground, establishing a proper legal basis,
etc.
All these are among the necessary steps for guaranteeing
the security of our statehood and having a proper basis for protecting the
rights of our people, which should also ensure the protection of the rights of
our children, our generations.
