During this war and after its end, the Office
of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia is sending new evidences of Azerbaijani
atrocities to international bodies. Moreover, the evidences are being sent in a
single package, covering the entire period of the war since the 27th of
September.
It is very important that this time, the evidences
are being sent in a single package to the criminal prosecution bodies of those
countries that have a universal jurisdiction.
The evidences were subjected to legal analyzes,
translated from Azerbaijani or Turkish to English and Russian, and were dully
documented.
Attached to these evidences, a legal analysis
is also being sent, which shows that the Azerbaijani side is artificially
protracting the return of the captives and the bodies of the military
servicemen. Moreover, the connection between the atrocities and the
state-sponsored Armenophobia, and the Azerbaijani policy to continue it, is
shown.
All the materials will also be sent to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, to the Permanent Representatives of
Armenia to international organizations, to the diplomatic missions of Armenia,
and the Representative of Armenia to the ECHR.
