The rapid response groups of
the Human Rights Defender have visited Yerevan and Gyumri Police Departments aimed
at protecting the rights of the protesters.
Private interviews will be
held with the apprehended persons; the grounds of their apprehension, the state
of protection of their rights, as well as the relevant documents prepared by
the law enforcement bodies will be examined.
Another group of the Human
Rights Defender’s Office has visited the Detention Center of the Yerevan Police
Department (PHAP) to visit the persons apprehended during earlier assemblies.
The Human Rights Defender’s
Office is also conducting monitoring of the assemblies that currently take
place.
