Today,
the Human Rights Defender of Armenia had a working meeting with the Head of Delegation of the European Union to Armenia,
Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin.
During
the meeting, Arman Tatoyan presented evidence about the atrocities and cruel
treatment of the Azerbaijani armed forces against civilians, including the use
of prohibited weapons and the massive destruction of civilian infrastructure.
The
Defender informed the Ambassador that 2 civilians were killed and 2 others
injured as well as houses damaged in Armenia.
The
data provided by the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh show that at least 40
civilians were killed and more than 120 were injured in
Artsakh.
The
parties stressed the importance of cooperation between the two institutions and
agreed to enhance the cooperation on human rights protection issues.
