On
July 28, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia Mr. Arman Tatoyan discussed
issues related to the protection of refugee rights with the Coordinator of
“Armenian Refugee Platform” initiative group Mr. Arthur Ghazaryan and the Executive
Director of the International Center for Human Development (ICHD) in Armenia
Mr. Tevan Poghosyan.
The Human Rights Defender noted that the issues related to
the protection of refugee rights is one of the priorities of his work.
From
the point of view of solving the issues in the field, the importance of
cooperation with the civil society was highlighted.
With
this regard, Mr. Arman Tatoyan welcomed the idea and the aim of the “Armenian
Refugee Platform” initiative.
Agreements
on cooperation on number of issues has been reached.
